Keep it human.
Got A Minute? is a place for respectful, text-only conversations between adults aged 18 and older.
What isn’t allowed
- Sexual content, sexual solicitation, or sexual exploitation of anyone. Any sexual content involving minors is prohibited.
- Threats, targeted harassment, hate, graphic violence, or instructions encouraging self-harm or violent wrongdoing.
- Links, phone numbers, email addresses, social handles, or attempts to move a conversation elsewhere.
- Scams, spam, impersonation, sharing another person’s private information, or evading restrictions.
- Uploads or public profiles. The app supports text only.
Screening and reports
Messages and posts are screened before delivery using automated checks. Screening is imperfect. You can leave, block the other participant, or report a concern. Reporting an active conversation ends it. The other participant sees only that the conversation ended. Reporting does not automatically establish a violation.
Moderators review reported material, dismiss or confirm reports, remove open posts, and escalate account concerns. Administrators handle suspensions, bans, and appeals inside the app. Reports are linked to private account identifiers. Access and enforcement actions are restricted and recorded.
Privacy and accountability
Your email is not shown to other participants. Conversations are not end-to-end encrypted: we process text using OpenAI’s moderation model to screen for prohibited content. See our privacy notice for retention details.
Support and appeals
Use the in-app reporting control for a specific conversation. If your account is banned, sign in to see the account notice and submit a private appeal. You can read the decision in the app. For support, privacy, or safety concerns, contact support@gotaminute.app. For a specific conversation, reporting in the app links your concern to the relevant account and available evidence.
This is not an emergency or crisis-response service.
